Värmland
Situated in the heart of Sweden, Värmland is one of the most beautiful provinces in the country. With a large number of lakes, rivers and wildlife areas, it is the ideal destination for nature lovers. More elk are seen here annually than in any other region in Sweden, which says something about the peaceful and pristine surroundings.
Gräsmark
Gräsmark lies between two lakes: Udden lake, which is immediately adjacent, and Rottnen lake. Both lakes have sandy beaches which are delightful in the summer. In the winter, they serve as the ideal spot to lace up your skates before setting out across the lake. From Stuvettsgård, you can go hiking or cross-country skiing in the forest.
Our village is small enough to give you the feeling of being very close to nature.
At the same time, it is large enough provide a number of basic facilities, including
a supermarket and a petrol station. Other facilities and stores can be found in the
nearby villages of Sunne and Torsby.
Year-round
Central Sweden is not only a terrific summer destination. Spring, with its explosion
of exuberantly blooming flowers, is a feast for the eye, whereas autumn, with
the fading colours of the forest, is a beautiful backdrop for long days in the outdoors.
Winter is a great time for ice skating and Nordic/Alpine skiing. Stuvettsgård is open
year-round and always offers you an unforgettable holiday.
